Today (21.12.16) Ld FTC-1 Basirhat court gave judgement to accd Khada Box Molla @ Potu to suffer RI for 40 yrs and fine Rs. 50000/- in default RI for 6 months u/s 302/201 IPC. Lt Kalipada Roy of Debpukur,PO- Suryapukur, PS- Titagarh A/P c/o- Paresh Adhikary of Netajipally , PS- Barasat, North 24 PGS (3) Tapan Roy (H/M, 51 yrs) s/o- Dhirendranath Roy of Simulpur, Hazratala, PO- Thakurnagar, PS- Gaighata, North 24 PGS (4) Rubana Mondal (M/F, 23 yrs) w/o- Zakir Mondal of Vill- Konedaha, PS- Sarsa, Dist- Jessore, Bangladesh and also seized a number of voter card, Adhar card, PAN card of India along with huge number of blank pad of different Garm Panchayets Pradhan, Municipality, Chairman which were issued in the name of different persons appears to be fake along with several number of electronic devises viz. laptop, multifunction printers, biometric impression reader devises, camera, pen drive and other articles. Allegations were made against the accused persons of forging documents and Govt. stamps to produce fake documents in order to procure Indian voter card, Pan card, Adhar card for Bangladesh Internationals by using the above said electronic devises in lieu of money.
On 18.09.17 at about 19.00 hrs one Gobinda Kumar Biswas found some persons chasing one boy. This information was intimated to Gaighata PS. Police party reached the spot and searched that person and recover total 17 no�s of Gold Biscuits weighing 02 Kg 700 gms, after testing the same. On interrogation the said boy disclosed his name and address as Rajesh Mondal (26), S/o Lt. Rajendranath Mondal of Vill Puratan Bongaon, PO Kalitala, PS Bongaon, Dist North 24 Parganas and the apprehended person also stated that he smuggles the gold. Then ASI Nilkanta Mondal of Gaighata P.S. seized the said gold biscuits under proper seizure list from the possession of the accused person and arrested him. The arrested person could not produce any valid documents in respect of the said gold biscuits for possessing the same.
Gaighata PS Case No. 1062/17 dt 05.11.17 U/s 302/201 IPC. On 05.11.17 at about 06.00 hrs one unknown dead body of the deceased, aged about 45 yrs was lying in the open field of Jamdani Mouja near Bora Krishnanagar Bilpara under PS Gaighata. One Mobile Phone set and one pocket diary were recovered from the PO area. After analysis of recovered mobile phone set and the dead body was identified as Gopal Biswas as BD Nationals and the accused was detected, who is son in law of the deceased. The accused person was also BD National. Then on 07.11.17 the accused Nihar Mondal was arrested by engaging source from Babupara, Thakurnagar under PS Gaighata.
Haroa PS Case No. 541/17 dt-25.07.17 u/s 392 IPC : The instant case was started on the basis of the written complaint of one Ripan Das S/O Ratan Das of Geoldanga, PO-Jossure, PS-Habra, 24 Pgs. (N) to the effect that on 25.07.17 at about 12.15 hrs when the complainant was return back from money collection and when he reached at near Ghoshpur Burning Ghat with cash Rs. 2,05,720/- suddenly 03 accused persons assaulted the complainant and forcibly took away the said money and some others articles from the complainant. On pursuance of source information SI Himadri Roy of Haroa PS arrested Monirul Molla, Raju Molla & Hafijul Sk of Ghoshpur and recovered Rs.56110/- from accd. Monirul Molla & Rs. 54220/- from accd. Raju Molla and Rs. 2480/- Hafijul Sk as SR property.

On 13.11.2017 two habitual bike lifters namely 1) Prasen Roy (19) s/o Amulya Roy of Bagula PS Haanskhali Dist. Nadia A/P bedi Bhavan Pukurpaar Club PS Kalyani Distt -Nadia and Ram Kumar Tiwari (27) s/o Taraknath Tiwari of Deshbandhu Railway Colony PS Bijpur have been arrested in c/w Barasat PS case no 934 dt 13.11.17 u/s 413/414/34 IPC and five stolen motorcycles have been recovered from them from Bijpur and Naihati areas.
Ashoknagar PS Case No. 1114/16 dt. 09.12.16 U/s 363/ 366A IPC. On 09.03.2017 police personnel of Ashokenagar PS recovered the VG Sreelekha Biswas from Pune, Maharastra and followed by arresting of accused Nitai Mondal.
On 29.06.2017 received an information that one women aged about 90 years was loitering at Kachua More under Ashoknagar PS. After receiving the information Police of Ashoknagar PS had been to the spot and recovered the said women. On interrogation she stated her particulars as Gauri Dey (90) but she could not say her actual residential address and she also stated that she came to Ashoknagar by mistake due to old age. She was admitted to Ashoknagar SG Hospital. This information was spread out in and around Ashoknagar PS area as well as adjacent area. No positive result could be obtained. This information was also posted at facebook by Police of Ashoknagar PS for tracing out the actual resident of the victim Gauri Dey. After that her actual residential address was identified as Kharo Beler Math, PS- Habra and handed over to her family member.
On 29.07.2017 at about 20.15 hrs on receiving secret tip off Police of Ashoknagar PS had been to Matiagacha and arrested a gang of Arms manufacturer/supplier namely (i) Bikash Singh (21) S/o Late Bijoy Singh of 62 no Keshab Chandra Sen Street, PS Amharst Street, Kol-09 and nine others and recovered (i) one piece of improvised country made pipe gun measuring about 10 inches in length, (ii) one piece of improvised country made pipe gun in broken condition (iii) four (4) pieces of ledth machine (iv) two (2) pieces of drill machine (v) some pieces of Iron rod (vi) two mini truck (107) bearing No. WB 19F 8483 & WB 11B 5526. Later arrested another two arms manufacturer namely Alam & Bablu.
On 20.02.2017 some unknown miscreant committed theft at a jewelry house at Dighirhat under Ashoknagar PS and took away some gold ornaments. During investigation the crime was detected and the miscreants were identified. Held raid and arrested the three culprits from Howrah district and recovered some gold ornaments from the possession which they stole from the said jewelry shop.

On demand he failed to produce any valid documents in favour of such possessing.
On 29.10.2017 police personnel of Sandeshkhali PS recovered the stolen property (Jewelry and Mobile Phone) held joint raid at Daudpur, PS Sandeshkhali, Dist- North 24-Parganas with Netajinagar PS of Kolkata Police in c/w Netajinagar PS case no 329 dt 28.10.17 U/S 381 IPC and arrested the accused person.

On 14.12.17 acting on a tip of secret information, one Sk Rabiul Islam aged about 28 yrs S/o Sk. Mujibar Rahaman of Dighasipur PS: Bhawanipur, Midnapur (East) has been arrested with 8.8 lts of Codeine mixture. This refers to Basirhat PS Case No 1153/17 dated 14/12/17 u/s 21 NDPS Act. He is a notorious road robber and earlier arrested in Bagnan PS, Ranigunj PS and DD Lalbazar
On the intervening night of 01.01.18 & 02.01.18, a theft was committed in a mobile shop at Jirat Bazar, P.S Amdanga whereas 30 mobile sets have been stolen away. On 21.08.18 in between 20:40hrs and 21:20hrs in pursuance of source information Habra PS apprehended three accused persons and seized from their possessions 100 grams of Heroin.
