Today on 24/12/16 a cancer awareness programme with medical test facility was organised by Deganga PS in association with Barasat Cancer Research & Welfare Centre at Kartickpur High School. Approx 200 personnel were attended the programme in which 150 personnel took medical check-up facility.
SAMPRITI CUP FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT ORGANIZED BY DUTTAPUKUR PS FOR THE YEAR 2016 WAS COMMISSIONED ON 18TH DECEMBER 2016 AND FINAL MATCH ENDED ON 24TH DECEMBER 2016. 12 TEAM PARTICIPATED IN THIS TOURNAMENT. PASCHIM KHILKAPUR GP WON THE FINAL BY DEFEATING KASHIMPUR GP. SHRI RAFIKAR RAHAMAN, MLA AMDANGA WAS CHIEF GUEST IN THE PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY.

A Traffic Awareness (SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE) programme has organised by Basirhat PS on 08/04/2017. A road rally has organised from Basirhat PS to Boatghat. Announcements made regarding “ SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE” and distributed sweets and rose to the motorcycle riders who were without helmet.
On 08/01/17 one day 8 teams knock-out Cricket tournament was organized by Hingalganj PS at Hingalganj PS Ground. The Chief Guest of the tournament was the MLA, Hingalganj constituency. Our Officer-in-charge of this Ps, who was also the Chief Guest, presented trophy to participating team besides other awards such as man of the match, man of series etc.
On 18/07/2017 an awareness programme on child marriage cum Human Trafficking was organized by Hingalganj PS at Hingalganj Community Hall. The program was chaired by Addl. SP (HQ), North 24 Parganas with MLA, Hingalganj as the Chief Guest . Speaking on the program, delegates stressed on the laws about child marriage which has affected the society. Students of various schools of the area and the general public also attended the campaign in which more than 500 people attended.
On 23/05/2017 a blood donation camp was organized by Hingalganj PS. It was held in the PS hall. The Police personnel of this PS and the other local people of Hingalganj village were participating in the camp. 50 (fifty) persons were participate at the camp.
On 30/10/17 a 'Jatra' was organized by Hingalganj Police personnel and local people of Hingalganj PS area. The name of 'Jatra' is 'JIBAN GARIR FERIOLA'. It was held at the Hingalganj PS ground.
On 09/11/17 an anti Dengue cleaning and spraying bleaching, lime and kerosine oil was conducted at Gopalnagar PS Palla area by OC, Gopalnagar PS and his staff. CI, Gaighata and SDPO Bongaon also participated in the programme. It is covered by Anandabazar Patrika on 10/11/17.
On 10/11/2017 an awareness programme on Cyber laws pertaining to social media and Internet use, Human trafficking, Child marriage (Swayangsiddha), Safe Drive Save Life & Dengue has been organised by Barasat Women PS at Bamunmura Kusum Kumari Balika Vidyalaya (HS), Badu, Barasat. 325 students, 7 teachers of this school along with Head Mistress Smt Manjusri Bose, Members of Child Line Barasat & other dignitaries attended this programme.
On 11/09/2017 at 18:40 hrs, during traffic duty at Trikone Park more, O/C Traffic Bongaon, along with civic volunteer suddenly found a girl Child, namely Rama Hira, c/o Ratan Hira of Manigram, fell down on road when she was returning home after taking tuition due to her internal disease. Seeing that the police personnel took her in a E-Rickshow for Bongaon Sub-divisional hospital and make arrangement a treatment of her and the police personnel informed her grandfather about the incient. After her treatment and discharge form Bongaon S.D. Hospital, her parents took all her responsibility form the police personnel.
One disabled lady namely Subhadra Halder W/o Lt Sumongal Halder of Dakshin Chatra, Subhashpally, PS Baduria, North 24 Pgs and she is residing at her own house but his elder son namely Sukanta Halder @ Raju along with her daughter in law and younger son tortured her physically due to hand over the property in their own name and on refusal from the old lady they assaulted her and lastly on 05.08.17 at about 12.00 hrs her daughter in laws hold down a hot chatter in her face with a view to kill her. After that a case was started against her son and daughter in laws and on investigation her daughter in laws were arrested and forwarded before the Ld Court and we return the disable old lady in her house and depute two Civic volunteers for her safety.
On 09.11.17 at about 22.30 hrs one deaf and dump boy namely Jalal Uddin Mondal was found at Katiahat Bazar area under PS Baduria, who was moving aimlessly in that area and SI Sumoy Ghosh recovered him and brought him at Baduria PS. From this time the officer and forces of Baduria PS tried to find out the address of the recovered boy. Finally on 10.11.17 they became success and inform his father namely Nur Amin Mondal S/o Lt Jubbar Mondal of Chouro Char, PO Sangrampur, PS Basirhat. On the same day in the morning his parents came to PS and identified their missing son Jalal Uddin Mondal (15 Yrs), who was missing since 09.11.17 in the morning. Nur Amin Mondal, father of said boy, submitted necessary documents in respect of the missing boy from the documents it came to light that the father of the said boy is Nur Amin Mondal. The said boy also identified his parents. So he is handed over to his father.
In this year Muharram festival was held on 01.10.17 at Narkelberia under PS Baduria and about 8000 Muslim people took part in this holly festival and possession which was started from Masia, Bagjola, Haiderpur, Chatra area and ended at Narkelberia peacefully. This year immersion of Durga Puja & Muharram both program were held same day as per schedule but both ended peacefully.

On 25.09.17 morning in course of my patrolling duty at Bankra More under PS Hingalganj, SI Ganesh Bain of Hingalganj PS found that some people gathered there encircling a mentally disable and stray person who identified himself as Hriday Chowdhury ( 25yrs). Local people of that area informed that he was wandering at that area since that morning and creating nuisance due to his mental illness. There was very chance of his harm by the public. At the same time he can harm to other. Accordingly, SI Ganesh Bain rescued him and brought him Sandelerbill BPHC, Hospital for his treatment. After that he brought him to Hingalgan PS and provided him food and drinking water. Then tried to know about his home address and name of his parents or relatives but he failed to say anything about these accept his name as ‘Hriday Chowdhury’. After that on the same day SI Ganesh Bain produced him before a psychiatric expert of Basirhat District Hospital. Subsequently, as per advice of psychiatric expert and under kind court order of Ld. Basirhat Court, on 26.09.17 SI Ganesh Bain admitted said mentally disable and stray person to Kolkata Pavlov Hospital. This refers to Hingalganj PS GDE No- 735 Dt. 25.09.17
A Blood donation camp was inagurated by Dy.SP (HQ) Barasat in presence of MLA Amdanga on 23.05.2017. Total 50 donners donated their blood in that camp.
On 26.06.2017 a road rally on SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE was organized consisting of arraound 100 local school students and local dignatories. In that programme the drivers on NH 34 road were brifed about the ill effect of rash & drunken driving
On 12.08.2017 a progarmme relating to seminar on Facebook menance was held at Mirhati High School. Arround 500 students attended the semminer. In that programme local dignitaries along with officers of Amdanga PS gave their valuable speech to rise the consciousness of the stiudents regarding the ill effect of facebook & Whatsapp and related legal bindings.
On 09.09.2017 an awareness programme on Human Trafficking was held at Adhata Girls High School. Local MLA and other dignatories along with OC Amdanga & representative of BDO Amdanga briefed the school girls about the trap of human traffickers in our society.
On 20.09.2017 an awareness camp on Cancer was organised at Baikunthapur Satish Smriti Vidyamandir. Cancer Research Institute, Barasat and Amdanga PS conjointly organized the programme regarding detection and treatment of cancer. Arround 500 local people attended the programme. Beside this a health check up camp was organised on the same day by the same organisation. Arround 200 people attended the health check up camp.
Bagdah PS area is famous for Kalipuja. In the year 2017, 47 number of permitted Kalipuja and 104 number of non-permitted Kalipuja were celebrated in the area of Bagdah PS where thousands of people both local and outsiders visited Kalipuja in Bagdah PS area and there was natural calamity (heavy rainfall) for 02 days between those days. Police of Bagdah PS were whole-heartedly devoted in law and order duty during the celebration of Kalipuja and as a result the common people enjoyed Kalipuja peacefully up to its immersion and nothing untoward was happened during Kalipuja 2017
On 10.09.2017 meeting and seminars has been held at the schools and colleges over the wide spread effect of Blue Whale Challenge game affecting the younger generations by promoting the negative aspect of the game and guardians were also briefed to be alert and keep strong vigil on their wards. On 15.10.2017 one Sadhana Adhikari (14 years) D/o Arati Adhikari of Hijalpukur, student of Class-IX of Purbanchal High School who got affected by the game was found noticed and arrangement was made for her counseling through District Social Welfare Officer of CWC.

On 04.07.2016 a programme on community Policing was arranged at PS in presence of Savapati of Panchayat Samiti, Savapati of Barasat-II Block and others.

On 24.01.2017 a football competition was organised at Pakdah School ground. SDPO Barasat, MLA Hazi Nurul Islam, Savapati of Panchayat Samiti, Barasat Block -II Savapati, Panchayat Prodhan of Dadpur GP were presented at the programme

On 11.11.2017 received an information that one child aged about 12 years was loitering at Building More under Ashoknagar PS. After receiving the information Police of Ashoknagar PS had been to the spot and recovered the said child. On interrogation he stated his particulars as Avijit Das (12) S/o Monoranjan Das of Burdwan but he could not say her actual residential address and he also stated that he came to Ashoknagar by mistake. We searched his father name in the link of election commission of India to trace out the actual address and identified his address as Ditpur, PS- Purbasthali. Then contacted with Purbasthali PS to inform his actual guardian. The victim was medically checked-up. His guardian came to Ashoknagar PS and we handed over the child to his parents.
This year we passed of the Jagaddhatri Puja festival under this PS area very smoothly devoid of any single incident because of our sincere and tireless efforts followed by the launching of new puja guide map, special immersion process, co-ordination as well as co-operation of all the organizers and the smooth crowd circulation plan.
On 26.06.17 an Anti Drug rally was organized by Bongaon PS. Main motto is to eradicate drug abuse and to make drug free society. SDPO Bongaon Sri Anil Kr. Roy, MLA Bongaon (Uttar), Sri Biswajit Das, IC Bongaon Mr. Satinath Chattaraj himself being accompanied with local respective persons, NGO’s, available police personnel attached with Bongaon PS, were participated in the said program. A huge response from the inhabitants of common people of Bongaon PS has came out. The said rally was organized at Paikpara, covered Paikpara village, Ghatbour, Sukpukuria area even on Bagdah Road.
On 01.08.17 a convention over the issue of evils of social media was organized at Giban Smrity School. At least 800 students including teaching and non-teaching staff were participated in the convention. A good response has come out from student ends.
Today on 14.11.2017 celebrating the Children's Day with the children of Childline throughout the day by different activities at Baduria PS compound such as awareness rally, drawing competition, go as you like competition and silent drama performed by the children. In the said programme CI Swarupnagar, BDO Baduria, Chairman Baduria Municipality and other political representatives remain present.
On 14.11.2017 Childrens Day celebration at Sandeshkhali Police Station along with 10 destitute boys residing at AMRA KORBO JOY (A Cottage Home for destitute boys) at Sandeshkhali maintained by Joygopalpur Youth Development Centre (JYDC).

On 12.07.17 IC Bongaon PS Insp. Satinath Chattaraj with his sole efforts amicably settled up above years after years dispute of passage adjacent to Paikpara Bara Masjid. Locals are very much glad and thankful to IC Bongaon PS over his nature of such type of dissolving attitude of long pending passage dispute.
On 21.08.17 a Bike Rally program of SAFE DRIVE SAVE LIFE was held at Chakdah road under Bongaon PS. Mr. Satinath Chattaraj and available police personnel attached with Bongaon PS, were participated in the said program.

On 09.08.2017 an awareness programme was held to make conscious of the students as well as teachers on these points : (i) Traffic awareness and common cause of taking place of accidents (Safe Drive Save life), (ii) Abuses of social media and on line games like “Blue Whale”, (iii) Communal problem and its remedy including the responsibility of common people, (iv) How to prevent trafficking of women and children, (v) Awareness of drug addiction and (vi) Prevention of Child Marriage
To increase the bond of police public relationship this programme was celebrated after completion of Durga Puja & Kali Pula. (i) To encourage the Puja committees of Durga Puja & Kali Pula to hold their puja by following proper rules and regulation they were rewarded with prizes according to their standard. ( 1st, 2nd & 3rd ), (ii) The students, boys and girls, who scored highest number in Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examination were rewarded to encourage them to be more attentive in their studies, (iii) Prize was given on Little Magazine to increase the standard in the field of literature, (iv) The local respectable persons including official dignitaries were honoured and (v) A colorful cultural programme was held with eminent artist to entertain the common people.
On 24/05/2017 held a blood donation camp at Petrapole PS campus and total 40 persons could donate their blood as the blood bank authority did not have the capacity to take more blood and their lack of capacity to preserve.
On 15/10/2017 held another blood donation camp at Petrapole PS campus and total 54 persons could donate their blood.
On 14/11/2017 to celebrate the auspicious ceremony of Childrens Day in the loving memory of Pandit Jahwarlal Neheru, a special team of Habra P.S. had been to various Sishu Siksha Kendra, ICDS Centers and Schools and lozence, toffees were distributed among the childrens.
On 23.11.2017 SDPO Bongaon conducted foot patrolling for keeping watch on important offices, vulnerable roads, jewellery shops / markets for prevention of crime, as well as supervising the NAKA points, vehicles checking and maintaining police-public relationship as confidence building measures
On 24/11/17 Duttapukur PS conducted a ‘SAVE DRIVE SAFE LIFE’ programme at Duttapukur hatkhola. Two civic volunteers were awarded as best volunteers for traffic duty.

Sampriti cup knockout football tournament was held at Madhyamgram Basunagar football ground for last 2 days on 13.01.18 & 14.01.18. Football legend Shri Pradip Banerjee and other renowned footballers Shri Sisir Ghosh, Shri Goutam Sarkar and Shri Santi Mallick attended the programme including MLA Madhyamgram.
Inaugural rally at Basirhat Town on the occasion of 29th Road Safety Week- 2018 today (11/01/18) at 11:00 hours. Hon'ble M.P. Janab Idrish Ali, Hon'ble M.L.A. Shri Dipyendu Biswas, Shri Tapan Sarkar, Chairman, Basirhat Municipality, Shri Rupantar Sengupta, Additional SP (HQ) and other dignitaries along with 500 school students have participated in this rally.
On 13.01.18 at about 12.30 hrs, a "Safe Drive Save Life " rally was arranged from Awalsiddhi more to Dariapur under PS Amdanga to promote awareness among the public & a part of community policing where approx 400 school children, club members participated in this programme. Respected Dy SP HQ, North 24-pgs, respected CI Habra, MLA Amdanga, other respected persons & social workers attended this programme.

On 25.01.2018 Gopalnagar PS has organised a friendly football match between the Police personnel of Gopalnagar PS & truck drivers & helpers under Bongaon subdivision in view of strengthening the relationship among them & to ensure cooperation from the end of truck drivers & helpers in implementing the "Safe Drive Save Life" project. In this programme SDPO Bongaon, CI Gaighata, Zela Parishad Member, Prodhans of Gram Panchayat under Bongaon block & huge spectators were present.
An awareness programme of Safe Drive Save Life, Human trafficking & Child marriage (Swayangsiddha) has been organised by Barasat Women PS on 24/01/18 at Nabapally Bhadrabari More, near Golap Sangha PS Barasat. 225 persons, students of this area alongwith other dignitaries, Members of Child Line Barasat attended this programme.
